VERSE OF THE DAY:
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made. (John 1:1-3)

WELCOME

And Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

Welcome to Gateway Community Church’s website. By way of introduction, we’re a congregation of Bible-believing, Holy Spirit-led people who focus on salvation through repentance, forgiveness and grace. We’re not in the business of condemning and judging people for past sins, but are, instead, committed to presenting the unaltered gospel of Jesus Christ.

So wherever you are in your spiritual life, we offer you sanctuary and point you toward the key to Heaven’s Gate – Jesus Christ.

At Gateway you’ll find a body of believers committed to doing church God’s way, people who aren’t wrapped up in a traditional mindset that forbids the penitent from exploring new frontiers of faith. In fact, there’s a growing spirit of anticipation at Gateway as the Church writes new chapters in its history. Words used to describe this new era are committed, expectant, humble, prayerful, surrendered, poised and ready.

We’re currently in the process of building a new sanctuary – and we have numerous other facilities on the drawing board to house our continually growing congregation.

Gateway (formerly Waples Baptist) is on the east side of Granbury, Texas, located on 10+ wooded acres alongside Highway 167 North, just 1.2 miles from the signal light at Town and Country Bank on Highway 377.

We invite you to share with us in an authentic Relationship with Christ Experience – worship with practical, relevant Bible-based messages and various music styles. You’ll discover that Gateway is a Church without Walls on a Journey of Discipleship that is a movement to change mindsets from Faith as Security to Faith as Risk – the courage to break out of old routines and to focus on Christ instead of tradition.
